The Jamaica Library Service (JLS) invites suitably qualifi ed companies to submit bids for the provision of Personal Computers.

Eligibility Criteria: a) A valid Tax Compliance Certi fi cate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Lett er (TCL) b) A valid NCC Registrati on in the Computers & Supplies category Scope: Supply of Personal Computers Collecti on of Tender Document: Tender documents will be available at the JLS Headquarters as of Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at a non-refundable cost of $3,000.00 each payable in cash.

Documents may be purchased Mondays-Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days aft er the bid submission deadline and shall be deposited in the Tender Box located in the foyer of the JLS Headquarters, 2 Tom Redcam Drive, Kingston 5 no later than October 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Bids will be opened in the Training Room at 11:15 a.m.

Failure to purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring enti ty will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from parti cipati ng in the procurement process.

Source of Funding: Project is funded by the European Union (EU) under the Project No. GRT/EX-14238-JA. The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) policy (GN-2349-9) and the Government of Jamaica (GOJ) Handbook of Public Sector Procurement Procedures, 2014 will guide the process.

Compliance Certi fi cates: Jamaican nati onals must submit a valid Tax Compliance Certi fi cate (TCC) and a Nati onal Contracts Commission Certi fi cate (NCC) with their bid.

The closing date for the submission of proposal is Monday, October 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. (Jamaica Time). Online Bid Opening takes place thereaft er on the same day (on Monday, October 10, 2016) at 1:15 p.m. (Jamaica Time). An online bid opening report will be sent to all Bidders that submitt ed a proposal.
