I am going to Papa’s Cat Café!

I will be safe and have fun at the cat café.

First, we will park the car. I will stay with my adult in the

parking lot.

Next, we will go in the front door.

When we get inside, we will check in at the front desk.

We will tell the worker how long we want to play with

the cats. My adult may need to fill out a waiver on the

iPad at the front desk. This will let me play with the

cats. I might get a snack or drink. I will stay calm even

if I don’t get a snack.

I will be calm and safe while I wait for my adult to check

in. I can look at the cats through the window while I

wait. I can ask for some toys to play with if I need them.

I can use the bathroom before I go in to play with the

cats if I need to. I will be calm and safe in the

bathroom.

I will put hand sanitizer on my hands before I go in the

room to play with the cats. This helps keep the cats

healthy.

shelf. My shoes will be on the shelf to put on when I am

done playing with the cats.

and the cats safe.

Then I will go into the cat room! I will see many cats in

the cat room.

I will be calm and safe with the cats. I will keep my food

and drink for myself. I will not feed the cats.

I can pet the cats. I can use toys with the cats.

I will keep the cats on the floor or their cat beds. I will

not pick up the cats. I will let cats who are sleeping stay

asleep. I will let cats hiding in the holes keep hiding.

This makes the cats feel safe and happy.

There are fun cat books to look at in the cat room! I can

look at the cat books if I want. I will put the books back

in the shelf when I am done with them.

When my time to play with the cats is finished, I will get

ready to leave the cat room. I will stay calm and safe

when my time to play with the cats is over. Before we

leave, I will use hand sanitizer again. This will help

clean my hands and keep me healthy. Next, I will go

back to the shoe shelf and put my shoes back on.
