Mission Statement Goddess Magazine is the premier lifestyle magazine for to-day's urban young women. Our purpose is to provide teens, ages 14-18, with a positive and clear outlook on to-day's often harsh society. Goddess Magazine is a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine that caters to young women’s health, fit-ness, fashion, beauty, and career needs. Goddess Magazine has added a special flare to the publication; the readers will

be the magazine's writers. This is a great way for teens to express their creativity and establish a special relationship with Goddess Magazine.

Goddess Magazine is also dedicated to mentoring young women to become leaders and inspire them to connect with themselves and with others!

OVERVIEW

Growing up as a teen, Danielle Wideman realized there was a lack of maga-zine publications that specifically targeted urban teen girls. In 2009, Danielle created Goddess Magazine, a publication that is dedicated to highlighting ac-complishments of everyday teen girls and informing its readers about issues that may affect them such as low self-esteem, body image, importance of education, and relationships. Danielle saw the need for a magazine that could mentor teen girls and become their outlet. With today’s society por-traying women in a negative light, Danielle believes that some teen girls do not understand the meaning of their self-worth. As the founder of Goddess Magazine, Danielle wants to ensure its mission is carried out through each is-sue to let young women know you can reveal the Goddess within them! Danielle’s background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communications from Northern Illinois University and a MBA from The University of Phoenix. While at NIU, Danielle was the Editor-in-Chief of NIU’s magazine called The Voice. While in this position, she transformed the publication from a print version under the old name, Huskies Highlights to an online version. She implemented an internship program to hire writers, graphic designers and photographers to stay within the budget. With this po-sition, Danielle has learned the importance of implementing and operating a magazine.

LABEL REQUIREMENTS: Issue date, advertiser name, contact name and telephone number. PREFERRED FILE FORMAT: PDF/JPEG The PDF/JPEG files must have: All fonts MUST be embedded (True Type fonts can not be used for Printing). Resolution: 300 dpi (commercial printing) All full page ads should be centered on a Trim Size Document and have marks indicating trim and bleed. All marks must be outside the trim size document. FILE STORAGE: The original proof and an archived copy of the digital ad file will be kept for 6 months after printing. GENERAL MATERIAL DEADLINE: Materials are due at ad close. For extensions, please contact [email protected]. SPECIAL POSITIONS Every effort will be made to comply with advertiser requests but special positions cannot be guaranteed. No premium is required for positioning. Changes and Cancellations All creative materials must be received by the deadline. If creative is delayed, Goddess Magazine reserves the right to extend the campaign end date by same number of days creative was delayed. Advertisers may not cancel orders for, or make changes in, advertising after the closing dates of the Magazine. Rejecting Creative Goddess Magazine reserves the right to approve all ad creatives which will run in the digital magazine and web-site. Goddess Magazine reserves the right to reject any creative that does not follow the specifications. Goddess Magazine is not responsible for errors or omissions in any advertising materials provided by the ad-vertiser or its agency (including errors in key numbers) or for changes made after closing dates.
