GOD’S PEOPLE STANDING ON GOD’S WORD!
LIVING WORD TOPIC-APRIL 27, 2014“ASK FOR THE OLD PATHS”
THE DESTRUCTIVE WAY ~II PETER 2:2
APRIL 27, 2014BULLETINRAY’S REMARKS:
Last Sunday was another beautiful Lord’s day and we wereblessed to gather as God’s people before His Almighty Throne! Wehad a good attendance on Sunday and everyone seemed happy and ingood spirits. We also had several visitors with us. I know some werehere for the Easter Holiday weekend. I hope everyone had a lot offellowship and fun over this past weekend. It is also a great blessingto have such times to be with those we love on this earth. Andalthough we have the privilege to celebrate the “Resurrection” of ourLord each and every first day of the week, it is still nice to enjoy someof these holidays from a secular standpoint.
I also wanted to take a moment and commend our youth for allthe good work they do. Sunday Evening after services, they spent overan hour picking up trash from Kearney to I-44. Some also picked uptrash in the field next to our property that is always overrun withgarbage. They did this as a part of the “adopt a highway program.”They all did a great job and had a lot of fun. I didn’t hear one complaint!I think we all could learn a lot from our young people and their willing-ness to serve God. I am so proud of them and thank God for our Youthgroup at K. E. Why not make an extra effort to let our young peopleknow how much they are appreciated.
K.E. YOUTH/ TRASH PATROL!
I hope to see you all in services this coming Lord’s day! Untilthen, have a great weekend and put God first in all things. God Bless!
