On April 11, the Numerica Perform- ing Arts Center hosted its third annual Spring Fling, the gala that honors current show sponsors and offers opportunities to become sponsors for next season. By 9 p.m. that evening, the 2015-2016 Season was established and $13,500 was raised for new stage monitor speakers. The event raised a record $227,950 to provide the booking fees for all of next year’s shows as well as assist in facilities upgrades. The Numerica PAC will present the following events in the 2015-2016 Season (in chronological order): Run Boy Run, an official Taste of Harvest event “Girl’s Night: The Musical” Jake Shimabukuro iLuminate Gingerbread Factory Van Doran Sales Holiday Movies Wenatchee Old Time Radio Christmas Carol Diane Schuur Smirk The Rat Pack Show King Michael Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience “Mary Poppins” Tower of Power Monthly Movies on the Big Screen The 2015 Numerica Festival of Trees, sponsored by Numerica Credit Union, was also fully supported, including: “Holiday Spice” Little Black Dress Party Gala Auction Trees The Numerica PAC is delighted by the outcome of the 2015 Spring Fling. Executive Director Matt Cadman said: “We had a record- breaking evening last Saturday, with over 100 local patrons of the arts and businesses stepping up to fully sponsor 13 shows next season, each Festival of Trees event, and all other sponsorship opportunities offered for next season. It was an astonishing show of community support for our precious little theatre, and a lesson not lost on me. ‘Every show sponsored, every seat sold’ has been my motto, and with this degree of community support, an upward spiral is created. Fully sponsored shows allow us to present the highest quality of perfor- mance while keeping ticket prices to these sterling acts affordable, which hopefully leads to sold out shows next season, which then provides the revenue that allows us to invest even more enthusiastically in community outreach, which then provides more and more oppor- tunities for the underrepresented and underprivileged members of our community to experience the performing arts, which then helps to grow a healthy and enthusi- astic community culture. It is said the health of a community may be gauged by how deeply it embraces the arts. Well, if this be true, the unprecedented support we are experiencing at the Numerica PAC suggests we live in a very healthy community!” The current 2015-2016 Season is subject to change. The Season will begin this September and run through June 2016. Ticket sales and show information will be released this summer.
