I would like to say to the Football team: Way to go guys! I went to the Martins Ferry game. First one I'd been to since I graduated in '92! I'm so glad I went! As an Over The Road truck driver, I don't get many opportunities to go do many things that I'd like to do. When I found out the game was there and I would be going through the area, I decided to stop. Let me tell you, I've never been more proud to be a Bulldog than when I pulled my rig out of that parking lot across from the stadium. Yes, that was me that blew the air horn at you! Great job guys and good luck Saturday night! I hope to be in Uniontown with my dad to see another Bulldog victory! Chris Adams Class of 1992

I wanted to let you know a lot of people are very proud of your recent accomplishments and are cheering loudly for you. I graduated from Woodridge in 1989 and played football for several years. I learned a lot while playing football, mostly about being a team player and working hard...but unfortunately winning wasn't our strong suit. We lost pretty much every week. We often went on the field believing we couldn't win, which is why we didn't. You now understand what it feels like to win. You've brought that feeling into your school, into your homes, into the entire community, and to alumni who still root for you (win or lose) all across the state of Ohio, around the country and world. This is your time. Believe in yourselves and you will be the best, no matter what happens next. I currently live in Leesburg, Virginia, with my wife Desiree (Coleman) Christopher who also graduated from Woodridge in '89. Take great pride in what you‟ve done for yourselves and the Woodridge Community. Take a look at each teammate to your right and left. You‟re not only playing for yourself, your playing for THEM. Don‟t let them down. Pick them up when they make a mistake, ensure their feet are squarely planted on the ground when they succeed. You can only win if you are a TEAM. And the BEST TEAM ALWAYS WINS. Each one of you will have at LEAST 2 or 3 opportunities in the game on Saturday to make a difference. Take advantage of those opportunities and be prepared and play with Wild but Controlled Enthusiasm. Be rest assured you will have other Glory Day events during your lifetime outside of Woodridge Football, But you‟ll NEVER forget what happens on Saturday night for the rest of your life. Go Bulldogs!
