Israel and Middle East Updates-IDF Capt. Amir TsarfatiThe following notes were taken by Sis. Carol Eustaquio when she attended the lecture by Amir Tsarfati given at

the Bread From Heaven Community Church on Shaw Boulevard Friday night August 8. She echoed this duringyesterdays Havdalah Service. Amir is familiar to many of us him being a frequent visitor to the Philippines.

He shared that if there is one nation whose people would be capable of being influential in sharing the Gospel

globally, it is the Philippines where 1 of every 10 Filipinos arefound worldwide as professionals and

workers, sharing the Word while working in prayer, testimony and role.Nowadays everyone is asking :

When is the End?Where are you looking for the answers? Some consult the net, some rely on new modern prophets but the

God of Israel says we can look answers from the prophets of the Old Testament.

Is 46:9-10 God made known the end from the beginning from ancient times, what is still to come........ Mypurpose will stand. ( therefore God has a plan and He revealed these to the OT prophets)

2 Peter 1:20-21- For the prophecy never had its origin in the will of man..... But he spoke from God .....as theyare carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Before going in to the updates, Capt. Amir laid the foundation for his talk. He said that 3500 years ago.... The

land of Canaan is a nation with too much bloodshed with people killing each other, children offered to theirgods, killing of the innocent, rape etc- it was a chaotic society..... And God brought judgement to the evil

doers..... he brought in a new generation of people - the Hebrews.

Up until now, Israel exists in the Land and God has been faithful in keeping his promises of His chosen ones.

2 key events that was foretold in Old Testament.

1. Daniel 9:24-26

- He gave Israel 70 weeks to finish transgression and to put an end to SIN....to bring everlasting righteousnessto seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.

V25- know and understand that from the issuing of the decree (day when the King of Persia issued it toNehemiah,Neh2) to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed one was exactly 69 weeks.That translates to April 6,32AD the exact day that Yeshua entered the temple mount riding on a donkey.

V26- after the 62 weeks , the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing( Yeshua was crucified)

.......that was when the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed as a result.

Daniel not only gave events but he also gave dates!

2. Ezekial especially Chapter 36 and 37 describe the last 100 years.

Because of Israels enemies..... The Land became fruitless and desolate.V8- there is the preparation of the Land.... The mountains of Israel will produce branches and fruits for my

People will soon come home....says the Lord

Eze 37:11-Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones-represented the whole house of Israel.

V12-people will be brought back to the Land

V13-14 Lord said I have SPOKEN it and PERFORMED it. So in essence it was the Lord's doing why Israel

exist today in the land of Canaan.

What is next?recent updates: The Strong and Active Players

RUSSIA- (Ros- its ancient name)- from the 16-18th century was a strong nation.

-Putin wants them again to be a storng nation with him as the czar!(ultimate leader)

- 2 years ago have taken over again the pier of Tarsus, Syria and they are building a BIG naval base there

stocking for any military confrontation later.- Israeli intelligence hear more Russians now more than Arabs conversing in the airwaves.

TURKEY- wants again to become the Ottoman Empire redux

Not being part of the EU embraced and become part of Islam.Before. They were an Allay of Israel and now the opposite.

Israel allied with the Greeks which Turkey hates.

IRAN- formerly Persia.

- after Feb 1979- Ayatollah Khoumeni- implemented Radical Islamic Republic of Iran

-developing Nuclear bomb ..... they are afraid and in good terms with Saudi Arabia and vice versa.- America sides with Saudi to protect their interest and even sent some F-16 in the region.

- Israel on the other hand just has to send an "email" :-) to the high officials and important recipients enough

to delay on going projects for quite a bit of time.

Not only did they delete files but also added some to cause a lot of confusion.

today Russia, Turkey and Iran are considered the STRONG And Active players amongst the countries. They all

dont stand each other .BUT on June 2010- their leaders had a meeting with one another fulfilling the prophecy written on Eze 38.

THE WEAK and PASSIVE players:USA- which is debt in trillions of dollars from China. It is in shumbles. Not much to say in round table

meetings.... But maybe china will keep them afloat so that they could pay their debts.

Egypt- through facebook , power was returned to the people when they called for a revolution of Muslimbrotherhood which toppled their government. They wanted to establish a Islamic regime which aims to

annihilate Israel.

Again Is31 was fulfilled when israel could no longer ask Egypt for help. Therefore, they could not rely anymoreon any country for peace.

SYRIA- Damascus established 3000 years ago and has never been invaded.......in Isaiah 17:1 it is prophesiedthat it will cease becoming a city

EUROPE- everything is beautiful, churches , art , paintings , nice places.....

Now have plunging economy. We also have to remember that they started WW1 and WW2.

1954- Elite group who met at the Hotel Bilderberg. (Group could dictate the heads of nations by giving money)

is now again giving a greenlight for War. ... Again to make money!!! And first and favorite target is of courseIsrael!!!,

Why? This is to catch the worlds attention. Russia for one will be hooked in its jaws (Eze38/Is 17) because of

Israel's GAS Discoveries.

Matt24- the stage is getting READY!!!!

Luke 21:28-29 when things BEGIN TO HAPPEN..... REDEMPTION is nearV29.... These things happen.... Know that the KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR!

Rom 13:11if the SPIRIT who raised Jesus from the Dead is living in you.....will also give LIFE to you...... So

the question now is ......ARE YOU READY?

Amir Tsarfati was born and raised in and around Jerusalem, Israel. He became a born again

Christian while a teenager after watching the Jesus film. Amir is a Captain in the Israeli Army Reserve, he was

the Vice Governor of Jericho, he is part of the negotiating team with the Palestinians, and a tour guide in

Israel. He also speaks four languages fluently, and is an international speaker on terrorism.

The 7 Mountain Mandate by Dr. Lance WallnauLast Sunday GNWOM watched the video teaching series entitled The 7 Mountain Mandate, Dr. Lance

Wallnau who says in order to be more effective, Christians should infiltrate 7 mountains or pillars of society

that shape culture. Wallnau claims the church has been successful at evangelism but has failed at changingnations, i.e. like the Philippines? He says that only a few people in positions of authority at the top of each

mountain (religion, family, education, government, media, arts/sports, business/technology) actually determines

what happens on the mountain (or area of society), thus, shaping culture. Christians have made the mistake of

merely focusing on getting people to the religion mountain rather than training and sending believers to

infiltrate other mountains so that Kingdom principles can be applied and promoted there. Wallnau has explicitly stated that this can be done either overtly or covertly, as "infiltration.

In the Bible, David was anointed to be King, a secular position even though he was an incredible man of God.

Daniel was promoted into a high ranking government position due to his spiritual gift of dream interpretation.

Moses, Joseph, Cornelius, the list goes on and on.

In history, the anecdotes may be even clearer than the obvious Biblical examples mentioned above. One of themost profound examples I believe is Constantine and the conversion of the Roman Empire. In 312 at the Battle

Milvian Bridge, it is said that Constantine saw a cross and light above the sun with words saying by this,

conquer! A year later the Edict of Milain was instituted which decreed the tolerance of Christianity andremoved penalties for professing Christianity. Constantine began to promote Christians in high-ranking

government positions, supported the church financially, and built a number of extraordinary buildings for them.

Many claim this was the beginning of Christendom. By the conversion of one man in authority on top of the

government mountain, God spread Christianity throughout the world.

EREV SHABBAT at GNWOM

Proclaiming Delight in the Lord and His ShabbatBy Maria Luz Reyna

If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, fromdoing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a

delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; and I

will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. the

mouth of the LORDhas spoken.

As our usual observance, we held our GNWOM Erev Shabbat at sunset

on third Friday of July 2012. Attended by GNWOM San Juan pastors

and brethren, Erev Shabbat is a service that is looked forward to byeveryone and also prepared for. Erev Shabbat brings honor to God, as we

observe Sabbath day which the Lord commanded us to remember to keep

holy. It is a blessed celebration with the Lords goodness filling uswhether we hold it in church or celebrated in family homes. It makes the

bond of love in families stronger and sweet. If there are problems, such

problems are overcome and loving family relationships are restored as

fathers, husbands, mothers, wives and children declare blessing to oneanother.

Our GNWOM Erev Shabbat as we celebrated for month of July, thepreparation started as early as 3:00 p,m. as fathers and mothers, husbands and wives thought of what food to

bring or to prepare and for children, what presentation to prepare as talent offering. Pastora Ching prepared

Pochero, a delicious beef dish, which she cooked right before the Service at GNWOM building. the rest of the

GNWOM families brought food which they either prepared in their homes or bought from somewhere. Food is

part of Erev Shabbat celebration which serve to declare that in keeping the Shabbat is the Lords bountiful

blessings. As GNWOM custom, birthday celebrants for the month brought additional food for their birthdaycelebration. The birthday celebrants included Wency (cute baby of Sis Janet), Sis Edna and another cute little

girl and another older member, all of whom were blessed for their birthday.

Sis. Girlie prepared and shared the Erev Shabbat message which resulted inthe release of spiritual as well as financial blessing and added a joyful

atmosphere to preaching and hearing of the word of God and involved

exercise of faith as she handed twenty, ten, five, one peso and P100 billsand coins, for those who were able to answer her sporadic questions relating

to her topic. The Erev Shabbat

message she released was based on

Proverbs 24:3, Through wisdom a houseis built, and by understanding it is

established. Part of her message is

sharing how to make the foundation of the house strong and this

foundation she likened to a chair which has base, and the basesupported by four legs and from there shared four spiritual legs of ones

life that should be strong enough to keep the base useful, ie., 1) mentaleg, 2) relationship leg, 3) financial leg and 4) physical leg. She shared

that all these four legs should be strong. and the Lord must be asked for

help to keep the base steady.

Two children sang and danced as their Tzedakah (Offering) to the

Lord. Pastor Francis led fathers and parents in release prayers and

declaration of blessing to the children, in which he said that there isan edge to children to whom blessings are pronounced personally by

parents as they become achievers and they grow up in Gods graceand protection. Brother Rod led the men, fathers and husbands in

releasing blessing to women, wives and mothers and he asked themen, fathers and husbands to take to heart the release of blessing towomen, wives and mothers. To complement the blessing, Sister Eva

led the women, wives and mothers in releasing blessing to the menhusbands and fathers who were present. Sister Pat, a young lady, led

the children in releasing blessing to parents which completes the

blessing of family members.

Pastor Ariel led in the communion, a very important part of the Erev

Shabbat where everyone, partakes of the bread and wine, in remembranceof the body and blood of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) and proclaimingHis death which led to our redemption, salvation and healing and gave to

us the blessing of eternal life and fullness of life.

The Erev Shabbat was a delightful joyful celebration as the service ended with a song to bless the home and

with Shabbat and Hebrew songs sung and brothers and sisters led

by Pastor Francis and Pastora Ching, Pastor Ariel and Pastora Nora

were singing (led by Sis, Bituin and the GNWOM young people)dancing, smiling and laughing, talking and enjoying one another

and the shalom of Erev Shabbat atmosphere and everyone were

lining and

partaking of our portion of the Erev Shabbat dinner

prepared by the mothers and fathers and given to us by

the Lord. SisGirlie shared that

in thanking God

for the food, it is

good to bless theLord who is the giver of the food. At the end of the service, there were

left over food also that the mothers shared to bring home.

With Erev Shabbat, a prayer

for Israel wasdeclared. This is timely

addition to the usua

Erev Shabbat prayers

because Israel has becomecentral in the heart of the Lord in this season, in addition to His

desire to seeing the family altar restored. By the way again, Iveseen the Erev Shabbat as a very

appropriate means of establishing the familyto become a basic house of rpayer from which will emanate prayerblessings that will rise up to the throne of grace of our God

service we had last Friday, the grace and generosity and shalom ofthe Lord was overflowing.

Praise the Lord for the Erev Shabbat and for the whole Shabbat day

It is a time of rest and restoration and refreshing! Shabbat ShalomThe blessings of the Lord for observing and calling Shabbat a

delight fill us all! Today and for the rest of the week until we donext Erev Shabbat in our own homes and in

GNWOM.
