Standard and customized Termination Boards

G.M. International offers a wide range of standard or customized Termination Boards for 8/16 units (32/64 channels) for an easy interaction with instrumentation of main manufacturers such as Invensys Foxboro, ABB, Triconex, Yokogawa, Honeywell and many others.

Our termination boards are also available with the new HART Interface System that drastically reduces the number of multiplexer modules.

Our range of universal Termination Boards supports isolators modules which are compatible with analog or digital inputs, for IS and Non-IS signals*.

Power Supply and Common Fault Logic


TAG ACTIVATION

1oo2 Power OK(RL1)

The relay is energized when both supply voltages are within the regular range (>18 V and <30 V), i.e. when “Relay 1oo2 Power OK” yellow LED is on.

Module Fault(RL2)

The relay is energized when the following two conditions hold:

1. at least one voltage supply is within the regular range (>18 V and <30 V)2. no module/barrier fault is reported

Therefore, the relay is energized when the “Fault” yellow LED is on.

A P P R O V A L P E N D I N G

The HART Interface System by G.M. International drastically reduces the number of multiplexer modules, yet maintains the capability to control up to 7936 channels. By splitting modem and multiplexing units it is possible toreduce costs for modules, increasing the baud rate of the system at the sametime.

Our HART Interface System is compatible with all of our Termination Boards.

HART System - Comparison

Compared to the current State-of-Art HART interface solutions on the market, the G.M.I. HART System drastically cuts the number of multiplexer modules required.

Even the baud rate is increased: 115.200 bps instead of 38.400 bps of other HART systems on the market.
