The increased global demand for Li-Ion powered products in popular consumer items including mobile phones, PDAs, digital cameras and, of course, laptop computers, has resulted in significant lowering of the manufacturing cost to a point where it is now cost effective to offer Li-Ion technology in consumer power tools. Li-Ion offers significant benefits over traditional Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries, such as the ability to produce a higher output power in a more compact cell, none of the special charging/discharging requirements and with fantastic shelf life, your cordless powertool is always ready to go to work when you are.

ELECTRONIC MONITORINGEach battery pack contains an electronic control circuit that constantly monitors critical conditions of the battery cells. This system ensures the battery pack operates within safe working specifications, dramatically extending the life and performance of the cells and the tool.

OVER-CHARGE PROTECTIONAutomatically switches off the electronic charging system to prevent overcharging of the cells.

OVER-DISCHARGE PROTECTIONIt is just as important to not over discharge Lithium-Ion battery cells as it is to over-charge them. This system will switch off the battery pack at a predetermined safe level similar to a mobile phone or video camera.

OVER-TEMPERATuRE PROTECTIONIntegrated temperature sensor prevents overheating of the cells and switches them off, thus extending the life of the cells. Power automatically resumes when the temperature returns to a safe level.

OVERLOAD PROTECTIONAn excess in current through the cells can damage them and/or shorten their life, as well as cause damage to other key components such as the motor and switch. When the tool senses it is overloading, it will automatically switch itself off. Releasing the variable speed trigger will reset the system.POWERED BY INNOVATION

As the head of the mitre saw bevels both to the left and right, the saw can be flipped instead of the workpiece when working with reverse cuts. And by simply rotating the mitre

table and flipping the bevel angle the saw is ready for the next cut.

Double bevel also assists when working in tight spaces, as it is easier to adjust the saw rather than the workpiece for every cut. The double bar slide system, available on the DB305SMS and DB250SMS, improves accuracy and extends the cutting capacity for greater versatility when working with larger stock.

If your GMC product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 24 months from the date of purchase, GMC guarantees to repair or replace all defective parts free of charge, or at our discretion replace the unit free of charge. Proof of purchase and your guarantee certificate must be produced.
