In total, the competition involved more than 300 companies and more than 3,500 middle and senior managers.
Global Management Challenge2011/2012 season Ukraine is planning
to involve 224 teams to take part in the largest Strategy and Management Competition in the world.
Managing a company, without running real-world risks, and taking top management decisions, the competitors are given the opportunity to:
Analyse Financial and Economic Indicators,Broaden their views on Corporate Strategy,Interact with the different Functional Areas of a Company,Understand the Market Conditions in which they compete and Customer Satisfaction,Become aware of the impact of their Decisions on the Organization itself, within an environment designed to encourage and develop teamwork
The objective of the team is finishing with the highest company share price on the simulated Stock Exchange.
How does the Competition work? The simulation is on-line.
Each edition begins with a Team Draw. The teams are organised into groups (Each Group with a maximum of 8 Teams). Each Group creates a competitive Market, in which the teams compete with one another.Each team receives information(Company History) about the Company it is about to run;
Outlines a Corporate Strategy;
Launches its Strategy by making functional decisions in different areas of the Company (Marketing, Production, Human Resources and Finances).
Then, it submits its Management Decisions (Decision sheet) to the Simulator via the Internet.

National Cocktail GMC 2011/2012National Cocktail GMC - a unique event that unites all the participants, businesses, government institutions, major mass media in Ukraine. Meeting will be held in an atmosphere of free communication, relaxation and positive emotions.
All participants of the National Cocktail have an excellent opportunity to assess the experience of Ukrainian teams in the GMC, to discuss new opportunities, meet the prospective business partners, colleagues and relax together in a relaxed atmosphere.
Top 8 teams will be announced during the National Cocktail. The most active participants will be awarded with special diplomas and prizes.
