    Learning Foundation:

    3.1- Seek to understand peoples's feelings and behavior, notice diversity in

    human characteristics, and are interested in how people are similar and different.

    Activity Highlights:

    We are making classroom rules with the students. We are going to highlight "beingfriends" as a positive rule to learn in order to get along better with each other.Using the webbing techniquethe students will work on thinking skills and shareabout their friendships with others using who, what, when, where, how, and why. The

    teachers will help expand their comments further. Using the project approach, we willinclude all curriculum areas. It's autumn season and thanksgiving is approaching.

    In the Teddy Bear class, Charlie'smom will share "Dia De LosMuertos" or the Day of the Deadon November 2nd. Parents, wewould like to have a differentkinds of leaves (fresh or dried) ,branches, etc. We need Eachstudent to bring in one apple byNovember 23rd to make an appleturkey.

    Activities: Weather changes,leaves, trees, apple turkey,

    turkey, friendship
