Some facts about the school I
• Founded in 1982, was reformed and extended in 1993 • Pupils with different degrees of intellectual disability
from 3 to 20 years old (68 pupils, 10 classes)• Centre for the immediate region with nine transport
routes (70 km nearby)• Educational stages: Infant, Compulsory Basic
Education and Vocational Training (Transition to adult life and Profesional Qualification Programmes)
• Types of schooling: Full-time at the centre, Combined Schooling and Clinical Care
• Shares a playground, gymnasium and some activities with a mainstream Primary school.

• Open educational resource for mainstream schools• Important feature: inclusion and social integration• Associated with different schools for developping
projects: UNESCO Net, pupils exchanges, sensory integration, psycomotricity, environmental…

• Cooperation with Parents Association (Training Centre for Parents)
