Gloria Fox [email protected] Artist Bio Gloria arrived in Spokane from Texas at age 7. Attended EWU for 2 years and graduated from UW with a BA in General Art, BFA in Sculpture and Secondary Teaching Certificate. Moved back to Spokane in early 1974 and opened Red Apple Culinary with her husband Jim offering gourmet cookware and cooking classes in the evenings with local and national chefs. Motherhood followed and 10 years of kids’ summer art camps. She continues her 25 plus years of providing adult and children’s art programs and events at the MAC as well as other community arts related events. Watercolor is a new and captivating endeavor to be continued… Artist Statement Creating is my response to the world around me. I am moved by color, patterns, the changing seasons and the complexities and drama of nature. Watercolor is a challenging, gratifying medium through which to capture the subtle nuances of life that bring joy to the senses.
