AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduatesof institutions of higher education. Its members areinterested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / socialorigin.

THE CONCEPT

Youth to Business Forum is a premiere event powered by AIESEC thatbrings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for inspiring conversations aroundpressing global issues. The forum aims to create an environment wherepeople from diverse backgrounds can cross-pollinate ideas, shareinsights and gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes topush the world forward.

Leaders will be able to accessyouth who offer valuable insightsinto the present state, and whatthe future may look like based onthe leadership and behaviours ofthe next generation. Come readywith your biggest problems, andseek for inspiration to solutions!

It’s an environment that helpsfoster fresh creativity and newperspectives to tackling pro-blems, and by challenging youand the present status quo it willhelp inspire the creation of yournext big idea.

Unlike any other forum, Youthto Business is mainly focusedon creating actions steps fol-lowing the conversations, ratherthan just talking about pressingsocial issues.

The Forum generates the Youthto Business Output of concreteideas and actions, which will becollected and circulated to ournetwork of 70,000 youngpeople, our large alumnicommunity and our partnergroups.

Top business and thought leaders fromaround the world are invited to sharetheir knowledge with the delegatesabout the chosen forum theme. Thissection of the day is delivered throughshort and powerful talks and aims toinspire delegates and help to form theiropinions for the rest of the day.

We make this happen by taking both the young and senior leadersthrough a unique and interactive experience, as a delegate orfacilitator.

Our partner organisations engage withthe youth delegates to give newperspectives on issues relating to theforum theme through workshops,conversations and idea generationspaces. Youth and business are able tointeract, exchange opinions andunderstand what is being done in theworld already to address the question ofthe day.

The youth delegates take their learningsand insights from the day into a spacewhere they are able to generate ideas,ask challenging questions and give theiropinions on the actions that should betaken towards the theme of the day.
