• The UN-IPCC has proposed extreme reductions in CO2 emissions as a worldwide solution to this possible problem and reparations to poor countries who will suffer, but had little to do with the “problem”

The proposed solution would severely and negatively impact the economies and standards of living of industrialized countries, and transfer huge sums of money from wealthy countries to poorer countries. It also would impose extreme regulation of the energy and transportation industry, crippling the economy and curtailing many personal freedoms we now take for granted.

How Does A Greenhouse Gas Work

• Sunlight enters atmosphere absorbed at surface of earth then re-emitted as IR light (heat)

• “Greenhouse” gases absorb at the IR frequency, then re-emit the energy thereby slowing the migration of heat from surface to outer space. (BUT – not stopping it like a real greenhouse!)

This is the real problem..(CNN)What President Barack Obama described as the greatest threat to future generations was neither terrorism nor ISIS. It wasn't nuclear weapons in rogue states either. "No challenge  poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change," said Obama in his State of the Union speech Tuesday. (2015)

He went on to say…"The best scientists in the world are all telling us that our activities are changing the climate, and if we do not act forcefully, we'll continue to see rising oceans, longer, hotter heat waves, dangerous droughts and floods, and massive disruptions that can trigger greater migration, conflict, and hunger around the globe," Obama said. "The Pentagon says that climate change poses immediate risks to our national security. We should act like it."

New EPA Coal Regulations…Who Pays?

• America’s coal-burning power capacity makes up approximately 30 % of the national total electricity production. (http://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2015-coal-plants/)

• The U.S. Chamber of Commerce estimates that these new EPA rules will shut down hundreds of generators, cost the U.S. economy 2.3 million jobs and half a trillion in lost GDP over the next 10 years, and add $289 billion in consumer electricity costs to lower household disposable incomes by $586 billion by 2030.

What will it mean to cut emissions by 80% worldwide?

A Few Words About Those Computer Models

• Too many interactive variables to factor in• Too many unknowns to factor in• The entire outcome depends on the value

input for “emissivity” or rate of heat dissipation to outer space – which is also unknown.

• If you factor in a particular answer before you start, your model is worthless…

CO2 is a small contributor to global warming, not only because there isn’t that much of it, but also because Water Vapor absorbs most of what CO2 misses… Adding more CO2 doesn’t retain more heat….

• The government doesn’t pick winners and loswers, they only pick friends and enemies.

Green companies that donate to his campaign are friends, the rest of us are not.
