The International Symposium & 9th Asian Regional Conference of IAEG on the theme “Global View of Engineering Geology and the Environment” will be held in Beijing, China on 24th - 25th September, 2013. The meetings of IAEG Executive Committee and the Council will also be held on 22nd and 23rd September.
Four technical themes and a series of workshops will focus on the main aspects of engineering geology and the environment. 27 keynote and invited lectures will be given by outstanding engineering geologists in the international community. Special activities are arranged to facilitate the information exchange for international collaboration. Post symposium excursions will show you the state-of-the-art of engineering geology in large scale engineering construction, urbanization and geological hazard prevention in China, as well as its history and traditional culture.
The organizing committee of the Symposium warmly welcome all of you to Beijing and share your achievements in engineering geology from all around the world.
