Keynote SpeakerEsther H. Lim is a partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP. She has been elected president-elect of the D.C. Bar for the 2017–2018 term. Lim has over 20 years of experience in complex patent law, including litigation, prosecution, licensing, and counseling at Finnegan. For 10 years, she has served as the editor-in-chief of the firm’s Last Month at the Federal Circuit newsletter and has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Randall R. Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Lim is also an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law.
Keynote SpeakerDavid S. Kim serves as Vice President of Government Affairs for Hyundai Motor Company. He is a transportation professional with extensive experience within the executive and legislative branches at all three levels of government - local, state, and federal. He is a proven executive leader and manager known for his strong communication and team building skills.
EmceeMatt Garcell is a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. Matt’s client portfolio includes Fortune 500 companies, law firms, not-for-profit organizations, technology, and media companies. Matt serves on the Board of Directors of Student-Athletes organized to Understand Leadership. In January, he was named on DC’s “40 under 40” Rising Stars of Real Estate. He holds a degree from Johnson & Wales University.

Laura Beldin is a Senior Vice President at US Trust/Bank of America. Laura provides services & customized solutions to clients with complex financial needs including regarding investments, credit, banking and philanthropic and special assets management.
Ted Bujewski has in depth experience working with government and private sectors in the aerospace/defense and telecom sectors in the areas of research and development, program management, supply chain management, industrial policy, technical consulting, sales, marketing, and business development.
Jeffrey Houle, a US lawyer and English solicitor with more than 20 years of legal and business experience, has represented Fortune 500 companies and members of the Forbes 400 and has closed more than $8 billion in transactions.
Tim Hwang is a technology entrepreneur and Senior Adviser for Government Innovation with experience building early-stage organizations and understanding complex policy issues. He currently serves as the Founder and CEO of FiscalNote, a tech company that utilizes open data and artificial intelligence to create next-generation legal software.
Kenneth Lench is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, an international law firm focused on government investigations. Prior to that, he spent the bulk of his legal career with the Federal government at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC.
John Lin has been in the real industry since 1983. He founded CapStar Commercial Real Estate Services in 1994 and developed the organization into a recognized leader in leasing, tenant representation, property management, business valuation and acquisition, risk management, market analysis, and green energy.

Cal Simmons is the D.C. Chair of Tiger 21. In 1976, Cal founded Cal Simmons Travel, which became one of the top travel agencies in the country. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, and has served on the boards of several airlines and hotel companies. Cal is also the co-founder and manager of three early-stage venture funds.
Cynthia McGee is Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, Private Bank. She has over 20 years of experience in banking & lending, specializing in wealth management. She previously worked as VP of Bank of Georgetown Maryland lending team & Sovereign Bank. She serves on the Boards of naisA Global, AREAA and the Philippine Humanitarian Coalition (PHC).
Joy Park is a Vice President at Comcast, responsible for customer service strategy and operations. Joy started her career in telecommunications, worked in operations, network design engineering, finance and contract management, and worked for AOL, Qwest, BBO and Masergy Communications.
Stephen Park brings 25 years of experience as head of The Park Wealth Management Group. Stephen is a distinguished member of the Chairman’s Council, a select group of UBS’s top 2.5% of Advisors. As a Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager, he actively advises high net worth individuals, including attorneys, Fortune 1,000 executives, business owners and pension funds.
Husein Sharaf comes from a systems engineering background, with over 12 years of experience designing IT solutions for both Federal and commercial clients. His career has taken him through organizations ranging from the largest consulting firms in the country, to small startup businesses and everywhere in between.

Audrey Siek is an on-air reporter and Line Producer for CGTN America. Siek Graduated from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University with Masters of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Besides hosting the daily China 24 segment Digital Hub that focuses on social media in China, Audrey also monitors social media around the world and creates new content specifically for the web. Dr. Naoko Takebe is a Senior Investigator at the Investigational Drug Branch in National Institutes of Health. Her current portfolio includes agents causing programmed cell death, cancer stem cell targeting agents, DNA damaging repair inhibitors, and a Src inhibitor. She is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Vincent Wong is the founder and CEO of mHelpDesk. He is a super software developer with over a decade experience building large scale systems. He launched his second start-up Mhelpdesk.com, which quickly became Capterra’s #1 Highest Reviewed 5 Star Rated Service Management App.
Dr. Sara Yang has held various roles such as regional HR BP for East Asia Pacific, and Middle East and North Africa Regions, since joining the World Bank in 2004. Sara’s responsibility is to address people and business challenges through development and implementation of strategic and value-driven HR policies.
