Challenges and Pitfalls of Aid Work – Charity vs. Solidarity  (Siamak Malek, Kathleen Hower, Mark Meyer, and Paul Larson). 

Monday – October 21,1:00PM – 3:00PM  Research Ethics Panel (Michelle Lemenager, Hadar Mansour, Judi Resick, Carla Sanchez)

·     3:30PM – 5:00PM  Ethical Issues in Overseas Rotations Panel  (Valerie Satkoske, Erika Fink, Bernie Good, Paul Larson, Thuy Bui, Manasa Manapragada, Samantha Vogt, and Sheila Ramgopal) – a facilitated discussion of short-term clinical rotations overseas and ethical dilemmas.  Faculty will share stories and lessons learned from their experiences working in resource-limited settings. 

Tuesday - October 22, 2013 Location for GH Debate 3:00PM – 4:30PM Global Health Debate (GH Participants) - Should low- and middle-income countries invest in physician assistants, nurses and community health workers rather than physician training to improve delivery of service and mortality measures?

  Thursday - October 24, 2013 Morning Location:  9:00AM-

10:30AM Presentation of Health Policy Brief  - each seminar participant will present a 5-minute synopsis of a GH public policy topic that he/she has researched and packaged for the chosen audience!
