AT GLOBAL HEALTH CONFERENCE HELD IN GERMANY

The 2nd International Conference & Exhibition Towards Sustainable Global Health 2011 - on Global Health &

Preventive Medicine, took place at the Convention Center in Heidelberg, Germany, on 14-16 June 2011.

Some 700, doctors including leading International Scientists, Representatives from Private sector, the scientific

community, International Organizations plus about 1000 local visitors and many journalists attended the

conference.

This event on knowledge transfer of cutting edge findings and solutions in the field of Early Diagnosis &

Preventive Medicine for achieving SUSTAINABLE GLOBAL HEALTH was a multidisciplinary forum for leading

Medical Experts, Stakeholders, Policy makers, Decision-Makers and Practitioners from diverse fields, such as:

Medicine, Medical Research and technology, Public Health Institutions around the world, Healthcare systems,

Int'l and local Politics and Governance, Private Economy, NGOs, Institutions for Development, Knowledge

Transfer and Education, and the society, as well as interested Public and Medical staff in Advanced Training

and Educational Programmes and Practitioners.

The conference was organized under the patronage of the Federal German Minister for Education and

Research, the University of Heidelberg, UNU-IIGH (United Nations University - International Institute for

Global Health), and Gemini AG - Association for Knowledge Transfer and Implementation, in cooperation with

and supported by CEL (Center for Evolutionary Learning), UNESCO-UNEVOC (UNESCO's International Centre

for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and IHPH(Institute for Hygiene and Public Health of the

University of Bonn).As a result of Sahaja Yoga presentations in First global Health Conference held in Bonn ,

Germany in 2007, the organizers adopted SAHAJA YOGA SUBTLE SYSTEM CHART IN CONFERENCE MAINLOGO. This can be seen on conference website address given above. This was a big boost for SAHAJA YOGA to

be globally accepted by Scientific community.

The aim was at sharing knowledge, best practices and insights for working on a HOLISTIC STRATEGY FOR

HEALTH CARE & for effectively achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the UN-DECADES

"Education for Sustainable Development" and "Water for Life" with regard to sustainable global health.

The participants especially looked into a possible shift of paradigms from a mere repair approach towards

disease prevention and health promotion through early warning systems, early diagnosis and preventive

medicine. The organizers believe that it is only through collective multilevel efforts that this shift can be

achieved for the sake of human well-being, equity, livelihood, and worldwide sustainable development and

stability

The Global Health conference had a musical start when our Dear Yogini from Canada Gospel singer, Rachelle

Jeanty, sang in her divine voice which left the audience spellbound. The song "Amen... lifted up the spirits of

the audience and many sitting there possibly got their kundalini awakening.

Pranita along with Elke-jacob Sharma, and other yoginis and yogi brothers from Germany a total of may be 5

or 6 did such a fantastic job of giving continuous realization to hundreds of Delegates. We were amazed at

their Enthusiasm and Dedication especially being in such a small number in a distant city and still trying so

hard. We pray to Shri Mataji to bestow her blessings on them and we pray to HER to send more Instruments

like them in the West for Sahaja Yoga to grow and firmly establish.
