2. What interests you about the Girls’ Leadership Institute?

The Kent Place Girls’ Leadership Institute (GLI) is a unique opportunity

for girls entering the seventh and eighth grades to explore their

leadership potential and strengthen their personal confidence and

self-esteem. Each girl will discover and develop her own unique

leadership style through a broad range of hands-on activities.

Participants will enjoy the challenges of a ropes course, serve in

the community, work closely with high school mentors and interact

with adult women who will share their personal and professional

leadership journeys.

The Institute, a five day, four night

residentia l program, takes place

on the beautiful 26-acre campus of

Kent Place School in Summit.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Applicants must obtain two letters

of recommendation, one of which

must be from a current teacher. The

recommendations should identify

the applicant’s responsibility, empathy,
