Glenn 4:53 AM It is very early and started thinking about the old days, normally we would be coming in from Hong Kong. Ten days at full sea speed 21 to 23 Knots burning 83K in fuel and lubes per day. We would have a timed arrival @ 8AM in Los Angeles. I would wake up at 2AM and get the ship ready to maneuver. First thing is wake up the cadet if he is any goos I will need his help. When getting to the engine room notify the bridge that we are going manned. Start making the coffee, once the cadet arrive in the ER it would be my job to go back aft and test the two steering gears with the bridge. Then we would need to blow down all three Ship Service Auxillary Diesel Generators.

Glenn 5:06 AM We would need to get off the shaft generator so the ship will be ready to maneuver. Start up the first Aux. generator and get it warmed up, then parallel it with the shaft generator. Get number two generator going and remove the shaft generator off line. Next paralleling the two Aux Diesel Generators. The list then goes on and on all day long. If your luck we will get to go ashore at five PM. Down to Pine Street in Long Beach get a great dinner and a few drinks, and get to see how everyone else lives. Should I mention how much I miss my old job. I got to travel all over the world for 35 Years, get feed like a king, and get paid an incredible amount of money.

Glenn 5:14 AM Ok, back to business, when I woke up of course I started think about options and charting. This week my plan is to try to run my charts with a focus on using the Dr, George Lanes Stochastic Oscillator to better time my entry into the trades that get mentioned in the chatroom. I'm sure it will not be easy, but it is worth trying.

Justin S 8:31 AM Interesting metaphor from Helene regarding sentiment - I would sum it up this way. The bulls are wearing masks and gloves and using wipes; they feel protected if anxious. The bears do not believe the protective measures will work and are sitting at home, refusing to leave the house even for groceries. At some point, I suspect the bulls will feel less anxious and the bears will slowly begin to don masks and gloves and delve back in and that's when we'll see sentiment shift.
