Approximately 350 boys participated in Glenbard West's intramuralprogramunderthe direction of Mr. Don Loveall.
In the fall. Captain Pat Pasqua's Bears won the flaR football championship with a 5-1 record.Later Dean Wellman beat Dave Dutch for the junior-senior badminton title, and Mark Bromann eliminated Pele Fries to takethefreshman-sophomoredivisioncrown
More than 90 boys took part in the basketball program and several records were set. Sophomore Jim Molinari scored 271 points during the season and Jeff Roberts ' totalled 226 tallies. The Warriors. captained by Senior Doug Hoffman. won the junior-senior division and the Lakers, led by Jeff Roberts. won the frcish-soph division Gymnastics and open gymwerealsopartoflhe latefall sission
Archery and bowlin,q were offered in the winter. Jim Voight's team won lhe bowling c~ampionship <!nd Dave Ba-
tek had the best ayerage with Steve Bittinger rolling a 208 to lake high game honors. Tom Acerrano scored 1053 points to edge Mike Kurkjian's 1048 points and win the Robin Hood award in intramural archery.

The voll eyball champs were captained by senior Jim Strand and the softball title was won bv Bruce Yurgil"s learn Both first place teams played a faculty team and the volleyball champions lost two close games, 15-12 and 15-13.
