Rose d’HimalayaFor more than twenty years, since 1990, Mariage Frères has worked side by side with the Arya Organic Tea estate to create a worldwide exclusive – our Darjeeling “Rose d’Himalaya”, an extraordinary tea known for its subtle fragrance of rose. Only a few parcels of land on the estate, produce this unique tea and is reserved only to us.A fine mist of essential rose oil is blended with the freshly cut leaves to further pronounce the delicate rose aroma naturally present.

Royal Thai Tea Issued from a garden in the northern mountains of Thailand, located a stone’s throw away from old opium hills, this tea resembles small turquoise pearls and unleashes gorgeous floral aromas evoking lily and orchid. The liquor, pale and golden, surprises the palate by its round body and soft, rolling texture. Floral intonations debut, mingling with accents of cacao, roasted hazelnut and fruit.

Yuzu Temple This surprising blend, with its evocative name, is based on a fine green tea. It boasts the pleasantly round acidity of citrus fruit, (halfway between lemon and mandarin orange), the aromatic richness and peppery notes of mild spices, plus the rind of real Japanese Yuzu. Resolutely exotic.

Thé Vert Marco Polo To celebrate the Year 2000, Mariage Frères added a new chapter to its long saga of creating special blends. A green tea was carefully chosen for its smooth, natural flavour, then wed to secret fragrances of fruit and flowers from China and Tibet, as already made famous by the ‘Marco Polo’ blend. A tea typical of French connoisseurship.

Fuji YamaGrown on the surrounding slopes of Fuji Yama, sacred mountain and source of artistic inspiration since long ago, this tea offers enthusiasts an excellent initiation to the subtleties of Japanese green tea. The tender, bright emerald leaves hint at fine fruity aromas lead by a perfume of freshly-picked nashi pear. The cup, shimmering with pleasant jade reflections, delivers smooth notes recalling white melon soothed with a drop of spring honey.
