Message from the General Manager
We are proud to introduce a waste and recycling service in Glamorgan Spring Bay Council.
Reducing waste is of importance in this day and age, and by providing a kerbside service with mobile garbage bins, we aim to make it easier for people to recycle and reduce waste from home and business.
The mobile garbage bin recycling service sets new bestpractice for Tasmania, offering a higher volume of recyclables to be collected per household. Containing the recyclable items in mobile garbage bins, rather than open crates, protects our environment by preventing litter.
Please read this brochure carefully, as it gives you all the information you need to get the most out of this service and to provide us with an efficient, high quality, and safe system.
Information contained in this booklet is subject to change.
What Is The New Service All About? As a valued ratepayer, you are being provided with two new compact Mobile Garbage Bins (MGBs), chosen for their advanced qualities and stability in kerbside collections (an important feature for preventing litter in our municipality).
