Based in the West Midlands, GJF Fabrications has over twenty five years ofexperience of manufacturing a comprehensive range of skips, containers andrecycling banks for use throughout the UK by a number of sectors includingconstruction, waste management and recycling.

Containers can also be manufactured to suit, Cablelift equipment, Dual Purpose (Hooklift &Cablelift Equipment) and can be fitted with sealed doors if required.

Hooklift ContainersAll containers are manufactured to CHEM T.S.8 Type 20 Standards.

Fitted as standard, 5mm base, 5mm headboard, 4mm swaged sides and 4mm rear door(reinforced horizontally and vertically with RHS80mm x 80mm x 3mm) c/w turnbuckle locking.They are fitted with 5mm thick floor bearers, PFC180mm x 75mm A frame c/w HS150mm x100mm x 5mm support for extra strength. All rollers and hinges are fitted with maintenancefree, oil-lite bushes for ease of use and consistent operation.

Compactor ContainersManufactured to CHEM T.S.6 standards.

Containers are double tapered (both in height and width) to aid in emptying, roll plates arefitted at headboard end on the inside to aid with loading, supplied with pins, tubes andcompactor sheet with rope, are available in either the swaged or smooth sided designs.

Open SkipsManufactured to CHEM T.S.14 standards.

Skips are available with either 4mm base, 3mm sides & ends or 6mm bases , 4mm sides & endsand reinforced with RSC76mm x 38mm double rails, all have internal corner gussets. All materialused is prime grade, laser cut and robotically welded to ensure guaranteed precision andconsistency of build, all plate seams are fully welded inside and outside, all lifting lugs are fullywelded through the RSC, with backing plates for extra strength. Skips are also available with adrop door fitted with safety catch, heavy duty locking and reinforced with RSC76mm x 38mm, fullygusseted to door opening all round with extra RSC76mm x 38mm bracing across the bottom.

Heavy Duty Open SkipsManufactured as above but designed to be more robust to cope with heaviest of applications.

All heavy duty skips have 6mm bases, 4mm sides & ends, double rails of PFC150mm x 50mm,40mm diameter lifting lug bar, are fully gusseted with 4mm plate and have 3 lengths of RSA40mm x 40mm x 5mm in the base and up both ends.

Enclosed SkipsManufactured to CHEM T.S.14 standards.

Skips are available with 4mm bases, 3mm sides, ends & roof and reinforced with RSC76mm x38mm double rails, complete with 2 lengths of PSA in the base as standard, for added strengthall have internal corner gussets. All material used is prime grade, laser cut and roboticallywelded to ensure guaranteed precision and consistency of build, all plate seams are fullywelded inside and outside and all lifting lugs are fully welded through the RSC with backingplates for extra strength.

Skips come as standard double tipping with 1.2mm steel doors, that are reinforced withRHS30mm x 30mm x 2mm, genuine DuraFlex plastic doors are an option, or walk in type, EasyDischarge containers if required.

Rear End Loader ContainersManufactured to CHEM T.S.10 standards.

R.E.L's have a 4mm base and 3mm sides, ends & roof and are reinforced with RSC76mm x38mm double rails and come with front stabilisers as standard.

Containers are sat on 2 lengths of PFC100mm x 50mm for added strength, and to keep it off thefloor when on site to prolong its life expectancy, fitted with front stabilisers to ensure safetywhen the container is fully loaded.

They are fitted with rear loading doors which have an RSC76mm x 38mm internal support foradded strength, and have genuine DuraFlex plastic front lids (containers are also available withspring assisted steel lids or as an open container).

Front End Loader ContainersManufactured to CHEM T.S.11 standards.

F.E.L's come in 3mm plate all round, are fitted with PSC gusseted forklift channels under thebase, full width locking bar for added security.

Containers are all flat fronted and reinforced internally with 2 lengths of PSA in order tomaximise space for company logos and advertising, are fitted with lid opening stays as standardto aid with loading.

F.E.L lifting pockets are formed from 5mm plate, have 10mm thick top gussets for addedstrength when tipping, have 6mm internal buffer plates to ensure a safe lift as well asRSC76mm x 38mm front buffer plates to help protect the container when approached by theservicing vehicle.

Appropriately robust prime-grade steels arespecified and all GJF products comply withrelevant Container Handling Equipmentstandards (CHEM).

Refurbishment service

All types of repair can be undertaken such asthe fitting of new doors and the replacement oflocks and hinges. Containers can be shot-blasted, re-painted and given new signage.
