Feedback is an essential part of effective performance. It helps individuals understan

the organizations goals and gives them clear guidance on how to improve or better the

performance. Performance feedback is more strongly and consistently related t

achievement than any other performance indicator. Giving feedback and keeping

consistent should be regardless of the level of performance. Feedback is not only fo

them who do not meet the standards but for everyone whether they or do not.

Feedback improves an individuals confidence, self-awareness and enthusiasm foperformance. Effective feedback mechanism during the probation and the first year ca

aid the transition to higher levels of performance and may support employee retention.

Individuals who engage with feedback enhance learning and improve their overa

performance. Feedback as effective communication is a mutual process betwee

employers and employees. It affirms the pulse of the organization. In most organization

employee feedback is a scientific process. It is done at various levels, befor

implementing a new policy or announcing changes. Many consider employee feedbac

as a diagnosis of an organization.
