Slide 5 1.Introdaction The modals :must, ought to, need, to be to, to have to, should express a variety of moods or attitudes toward a possible state or actions. Modals always are used with infinitive without to.They haven't got the Infinitive, the Adjectives or the Gerund forms. They haven't got the 3-ed form of Present Simple. They haven't got the Future Tense and some of them haven't got the Past Tense form. They haven't got auxiliary verbs in negative and interrogative sentences. Slide 6 2.
