Preparing a presentation

My talk is going to be about the role that computers play in both my studies and my private life.

I use computers in a number of ways in my studies. First of all, I often use a search engine to get extra information or ideas for writing essays. Secondly, I use a few teaching blogs to get advice on some subjects, especially history and science subjects. Finally, I use DVDs and multimedia CD ROMs to help me with English and one or two other subjects.

Overall, I don’t use the computer very much when I’m not studying. I send a few emails to my friends and I keep all my photos on the com-puter. I occasionally use it to download fi lms and music, legally of course. But I’m defi nitely not hooked on computers. There are too many other things I like doing.
