The Boston Tea Party
December 16, 1773
Thousands of boys and men dressed
up as Mohawk Indians

ships full of tea into the Boston Harbor.

A crowd gathered by the thousands to watch the tea
being dumped.
The crowd gathered to cheer on and support what the Sons of Liberty were doing.

Everything was left in the same place it was when they arrived,
except the tea that was dumped.
The British Admiral in charge watched the whole fleet from
an upstairs window.
After they cleaned off the ship's decks they marched back in a
single file line.
Soon after the tea party, that night a song was heard all through the
town. The beginning went like this...
Rally, Mowhawks!Bring out your axes, and tell King
Georgewe will pay no taxes!On his foreign tea!
