HARRY GEORGE JOHNS / THE LAST BATTLE (acoustic) / ASTRONAUT HEAD; Leeds based musician HARRY GEORGE JOHNS will be taking his brooding solo acoustic stylings on the road after the release of his debut mini album Post-Breakdown Blues. Keeping things as DIY as possible, Harry has handpicked several intimate venues, one of which is the fantastic Henderson's Café. Post-Breakdown Blues is an incredibly personal diary of a dark and desperate time. As Winter 2011 was in full flow, Harry found himself confronting issues such as mental illness, heartbreak and homelessness.

He stayed on a mate's floor with a laptop and a few microphones, and inspired by this dark time, Harry wrote and recorded Post-Breakdown Blues. Joining the former DINOSAUR PILE-UP guitarist will be our mates...THE LAST BATTLE (acoustic) Fantastic indie/folk/pop gems from Scott Longmuir along with his slightly smaller than usual band of merry men and women and ASTRONAUT HEAD Disarmingly powerful off-kilter alt. pop from this currently Edinburgh-based Buffalo, New Yorker. ROBBEN FORD Support comes from Tristan Mackay; One of the greatest guitarists in rock, Robben Ford is known primarily for his blues guitar, but respected for his ability to cross genres and excel in them all. Originally a member of jazz-fusion band L.A. Express, he released his first solo album The Inside Story in 1976, and began touring the world under his own name in 1988 on the back of Talk To Your Daughter. Five Grammy nominations later, he has also collaborated with musicians as diverse as Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, George Harrison and KISS over a 44 year career of prolific touring and recording. In 2010, Robben formed his first rock band, Renegade Creation, along with Michael Landau, Jimmy Haslip and Gary Novak. They released Bullet in 2012 – a work sharing the same top-notch musicianship, energy and enthusiasm which characterises his live shows. “The idea was to not re-invent the wheel,” says Ford. “Everyone knows the blues. My concept was to put great players together with songs that have deep roots and rich emotional terrain, and to just let something beautiful happen. MAIREARAD & ANNA; Multi-instrumentalists and award winners, Mairearad Green (accordion and bagpipes) and Anna Massie (guitar, banjo, fiddle) are an instantly captivating duo, providing a highly energetic performance with a warm and friendly stage presence. Having both grown up in the Scottish Highlands with similar musical backgrounds (most notably, mandolin playing Dads!) Mairearad and Anna share an innate understanding of Scottish culture and music. They have an intuitive approach to each other’s musical ideas and interpretations, and an "almost telepathic communication" on stage (Hi-Arts), honed through ten years playing alongside one another. As well as their acclaimed endeavours as a duo – which have produced five star reviews and a fan base featuring KT Tunstall – individually Mairearad and Anna can also be seen performing with a number of well-known artists; The Poozies, Blazin’ Fiddles, Karen Matheson, Bella Hardy, and Box Club, and together they join Scotland’s one and only Celtic Big Band, The Unusual Suspects. Tolbooth, Jail Wynde, Stirling. Time 8pm, Tickets £12/ £10. LIGHTS OUT BY NINE; A nine-piece soul and blues collective from Fife. Learning their craft through the classic songs of Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Ronald Isley to name but a few Lights Out By Nine have now developed a collection of original songs which is commanding a growing amount of media attention. Mundell Music, Back Stage, The Green Hotel, 2 The Muirs, Kinross Tickets £12 CLAUDIA AURORA, Carnegie Hall, E Port, Dunfermline, Time 7.30pm. Tickets £12. ww.onfife.com/events

THE LITTLE KICKS, MOSCO, The Little Kicks are a 4 piece band based in Scotland who have a reputation for a great live show and are known for their distinctly catchy upbeat indie pop songs. HOTEL CALIFORNIA -Eagles Tribute. Formed in 1999, Hotel California came from humble beginnings having been conceived as a band to play in local pubs and clubs in the Edinburgh area. Having served their time in working men's clubs all over Scotland and Northern England, Hotel California cut their teeth and refined their sound for a number of years.
