Medsolar is a newborn company that operates in

the field of renewable energies and particularly in

the production of photovoltaic modules.

Medsolar is located in the industrial area of

Salerno.

Salerno is a sunny town in the South of Italy,

natural site for the realization of large photovoltaic

installations thanks to its excellent solar irradiation.

There is also a fully equipped industrial port for

moving goods and raw materials. Furthermore in

Salerno is based the famous DEIE ( Department of

Electrical and Information Engineering) of the

University of Salerno, one of the most leader in

Italy in the research in the photovolatic field.

Medsolar owns the entire lot area

that measures about 100.000 m2 of

which 30.000 m2 are today covered

and used. In 2012, 15.000 m2 of the

remaining 70.000 m2 will be covered

and equipped according to the

factory enlargement.

The total plant surface is of about

25.000 m2 (production area), while

the administrative and the

commercial buildings are about 2.400

m2.

modules made of mono and polycristralline

cells with a production capacity of 50 MW per

year.

Medsolar has a line up installation composed of

the best technologies available on the market

for the modules manufacture:

•Glass Washing Machine from Triulzi; •Stringer Rapid Two from Somont;•Laminator of New Generation from 3S;•Conveyor systems from Rimas;•Solar Simulator from Pasan.
