GHS PERMANENT HOMES

GHS Permanent Homes comprise a high-quality plastic shell filled with concrete. It is resistant, permits a quick construction and is known to have a long life span. At the same time, they fulfill all relevant security criteria. They are suitable for private use and have also proven to possess all desired properties to be used in public premise construction such as nurseries, schools, office buildings, hospitals and public sanitation facilities.

Hard PVC without softeners and a concrete filling is exclusively used for the GHS Permanent Home. Stabilizers guarantee the heat-stability of the PVC and protect the product against changes resulting from heat, UV light, as well as against salt water and salt air in coastal regions.

FAST CONSTRUCTION AND INDIVIDUAL ADJUSTMENTS GHS has developed one of the most innovative plastic-concrete wall systems on the market. Innovative press-in connections and a well-conceived modular system ensure a simple and quick assembly of each house. This allows for a full construc-tion of a detached house to be finalized within a week.

ONE SIMPLE SYSTEM FOR WALLS, CEILING AND ROOF The GHS construction technology – GHS ClipPlus 80 - allows to construct the whole house from the same profiles. With simple adjustments, the wall profiles are used as ceiling profiles for two-story buildings as well as roof profiles for a flat roof.

EASY INSTALLATION Electrical installations and water piping can be carried out easily. Electrical cables, pressure lines for water supply and drains up to a diameter of 50mm are laid directly in the house walls before being covered with concrete.

MAINTENANCE-FREE, LONG-LASTING, ROBUST The plastic-concrete walls form both the inner and outer facade of the house. The surfaces are smooth, easy to clean and do not need extra paint or plaster. The concrete core is permanently protected against external factors. This ensures an attractive look, a high hygiene standard and endurance for decades.

EARTHQUAKE, HURRICANE, BULLET- AND FIRE- PROOF The combination of concrete foundation and reinforced concrete walls with elastic plastic surface and poured roof anchors guarantees maximum stability. The GHS Permanent Home withstands hurricane-like winds and even strong earthquakes. Over 70% of the object consists of non-flammable concrete. The PVC shell, unlike wood or other construction materials, is self-extinguishing (not inflammable) and in the case of a fire melts rather than bursting into flames.

ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS All our PVC profiles can be 100 % recycled. Considered over a long-term cycle, houses filled with concrete can actually be crushed and re-used as a construction material elsewhere. Pure hard PVC is used to make the walls, windows and door profiles. No softeners or heavy metals have been added as stabilizers. According to an independent study by TÜV Rheinland, there are no emissions of volatile, organic or carcinogenic substances. Consequently, PVC used in this application presents absolutely no harm to public health.

— WALLS

The PVC wall profiles are erected and connected to the foundation. With help from prefabricated modules from the production plant, they can be erected in very short times. No lifting machines are needed for this. Wiring hoses and conjunction casings for electrical wiring are installed inside the profiles. The wall profiles are then filled with concrete - using a concrete pump or manuallywith buckets. This creates a solid house.

— INTERIOR FITTING

The interior fittings (sanitation facilities, tiles,floorings, furniture, lights, etc.), which areinstalled by the customers themselves, respondto individual requirements and design.

— FOUNDATION

The subsoil is prepared and leveled.Reinforcing steel is used. Sanitationpipes are laid, and then a concretefoundation is poured.

— ROOF, WINDOWS, DOORS

1st waysFirstly, roofs are constructed of conventional light-weight steel or timber trusses. These are fixed on the reinforced concrete ring-beam with light- weight or heavy-weight roof cladding. Conventional insula-tion and ceiling can be installed.

2nd waysSecondly, roofs are constructed of the GHS ClipPlus Wall Technology Building System. The GHS system roof (sloped 10°) consists of GHS ClipPlus wall profiles mounted on special walltop/connecting pro-files which serve together with special iron plates/anchors as ingenious connecting elements between the covering and the walls. Conventional (PVC, wood or steel aluminium) window and door frames are fitted in the wall openings provided.

The PVC housing profiles are pre-fabricated in the plant and prepared for assembly, then delivered to the construction site.
