I. Authentication data1. Follow the next steps to create a new account:- Click on button. After this operation, the following form will be displayed:
- Click on the button. After this operation, the Sign Up Form will be displayed. Fill thisform with your Personal Data.
- For Partnerships PCCA proposals, the information filled in the above fields will be used asidentification data for the project manager and cannot be changed in the financed proposal;
- Click on button. This button will register the new account. It will alsodisplay the Userand the Passwordfor this account.

2. Follow the next steps to recover the password for an existing account.- Click on button. After this operation, the following form will be displayed:
- Click on button. After this operation the Recovery Password Form will bedisplayed as shown below:
- Fill the E-mailfield up with the e-mail address used for the account registration and then
click on button. In case of a wrong e-mail address is filled in form, next
message will appear . If the e-mail address is correct, message
will be displayed.
3. Follow the next steps to authenticate.- Click on button. After this operation, the following will be displayed:
- Fill in the User (e-mail) and Passwordfields with the authentication data received on email.- Click on button in order to finish the authentication

that will be displayed contains the following information:

While using the Submission part of the website in the top section of the left panel, depending
on which type of PARTNERHIPS Project you apply for, the following buttons are displayed for a
quicker access to those sections:
For PCCA-1: Project Information, Eligibility Criteria, Project Proposaland Finalize
For PCCA-2: Project Information, Eligibility Criteria, Work Plan, State Aid, Project Proposal
and Finalize
Each of these sections has subsections also displayed under the section buttons. When a
sections button is clicked all of its subsections appear below.

II. Funding proposal SubmissionFor each of the PARTNERSHIPS Joint Applied Research Projects (PCCA-1) and Joint Applied
Research Projects (PCCA-2) categories, the user has a section for project proposal submission.
The Submission category in the menu is divided into 4 sections for PCCA-1: Project
Information, Eligibility Criteria, Project Proposal and Finalize; and 6 sections for PCCA-2: Project
Information, Eligibility Criteria, Work Plan, State Aid, Project Proposaland Finalize.
The following section of the guideline will exemplify a PCCA-2 project submission. If you
apply for a PCCA-1 project you will not see, and therefore not use the Work Plan and State Aid
sections of the project proposal submission. The rest of the sections are identical for both project
types.
1. Project Informationa. Basic information
The fields marked with * are mandatory.In this section, the project leader has to fill in the basic information about the project:

- The project title in English is mandatory, it has to be less than 200 characters;- The project title in Romanian is optional;- The project acronym;- The number of participants (including the Coordinator);- The project duration (between 30 and 36 months).

The Next step button shows the next page of the form, the Summarypage.
b. Summary
The fields marked with * are mandatory.
In this section, the project leader has to fill in the executive summary of the project (min 500
characters, max 2000 characters).

c. Participant list
The fields marked with * are mandatory.
In this section, the project leader has to fill in the list of participants involved in the project.
Depending on how many participants you chose in the Basic information section, you will have to fill
in the following information for each partner:
Project manager (CO)/Person in charge from Partner 1-4 (P1-P4)
- Last Name;- First Name;- Previous Last Name if that is the case;- CNP;- Birth date if you click on this field, a calendar will appear to select the desired data;- Doctor if you select YES, since from the drop-down list, you must specify the year since the
project manager/person in charge from Partner 1-4 (P1-P4) gained the PhD title;
- Phone number the phone number where the person is most likely to be reached;- Fax number;- E-mail address for the project manager it is the address where the password will be sent.
You can upload the Organisation Presentation by clicking on the button in the
corresponding field.
Coordinator (CO)/Partner 1-4 (P1-P4)
- Organization name (without abbreviation);- The organization identification code;- Address;- City;- County the county where the institution is located;- Organization website;- Entity type here you can select if the institution is a Research Organization; if not, select the
size of the institution: small, medium or big;- Organization type select from the drop-down list.

d. DomainsIn this section you can choose the domains of expertise and the scientific field to which the
project belongs. The list of expertise domains can be viewed and downloaded by clicking the link(Annex 1). The list of scientific fields can be viewed and downloaded by clicking the link (Annex 5).
For the project expertise domain first select the domain, then the research field and
depending on these two, select the thematic area.
For the project scientific field first select the scientific field, then the Subdomain and
depending on these two, select the research area.
Fields marked by * are mandatory.
The eligibility criteria vary depending on the chosen scientific field and subdomain.
After filling the information required, it is recommended to click the button.
To go to the next step, it can be used the button or the horizonatally navigation
menu.
e. Key persons
The fields marked with * are mandatory.
In this section, the project leader has to fill in the key persons of the project. The applicationwill automatically fill in the project manager and persons in charge from partners that were declared

in the Participant listsection. You can add more persons to the list by clicking the button in
the top left corner of the table. For each key person in the list a CV must be uploaded by clicking the
button in the corresponding field. The CVs must be written in English and saved as a pdf.
The Save button can be used to save the data into the database, it can be used for
intermediary data saving and for final data saving also.
The Next step button shows the next page of the form, the Funding page.f. Funding
The fields marked with * are mandatory.
In this section, the project leader has to fill in the requested funding per participants and
years in LEI. The data can be introduced in the yellow fields and consists of the public budget and
cofinancing (where this is the case) for the coordinator and each partner institution, for each year of
the project (2012-2015). The blue fields will generate the totals and the percentage of cofinancing
automatically.
The Save button can be used to save the data into the database, it can be used for
intermediary data saving and for final data saving also.
The Next step button shows the next page of the form, the Funding (EUR) page.
Once this data has been filled in, the Funding (EUR) table will automatically be generated in
the next page. The table contains the requested funding per participants and years in EUR.

2. Eligibility CriteriaIn this section you must upload the specified declaration in pdf format, no larger than 10 MB.
You can upload the document by clicking on the button and then by clicking on the
button.
Depending on the scientific field and subdomain selected in the Domains section you will
encounter various eligibility Criteria. The following section will display the general eligibility criteria
and specify where the social sciences and humanities criteria apply.

5. OSIM PatentsYou shall specify the information in the following format:

6. International projectsYou shall specify the information in the following format:
The fields marked with * are mandatory.

Fields to be completed are as follows: Project title, International Programme, Published year,
Romanian partner institution, Romanian partner budget, project website. The sums shall be entered
in EURO, without separator, using comma for decimals.

7. National or international patentsYou shall specify the information in the following format:

8. Software productYou shall specify the information in the following format:
All fields are mandatory.

Fields to be completed are as follows: Software product name, Authors, Developing
institution, Developing institution website, Sales on the international market, The year when it firstappeared on the market. You can upload the corresponding declaration (Annex 11, in pdf format) by
clicking the button in the corresponding field. The sums shall be entered in EURO, without
separator, using comma for decimals.
You can delete an entry by pressing the button.

3. Work planThis section is to be completed only by Joint Applied Research Projects (PCCA-2) applicants.
This is necessary for the State Aid validation with regards to cofinancing project activities. Here you
will split the budget per project phase/activity/partner involved. You shall specify the information in
the following format:

You can add a new entry by clicking the button. This will create a new row,
where you can select the following:
In the Operation type column you can select whether you want to insert a project phase,
an activity that is part of the phase, or which partner(s) will perform an activity;
In the Phase/Activity/Partners column you can either write the number of a project
phase/activity (E.g. phase 1, activity 1.1) or select the partner(s) that will perform an
activity;
In the Description column, you will write the Description of the Phase/Activity;
In the Activity Categorycolumn you can select between different types of eligible
activities (according to Annex 9.5);
In the Deadline column you can select the deadlines for the Phases. Once you select the
field, a calendar will show on the screen. You can use this calendar to select the date;
In the Financing columns you can input the sums corresponding to each partner for
every activity performed. Once you input the public financing sum, you will be notified
by the online platform what the minimum cofinancing (if any) is, according with the type
of partner institution and type of activity you selected earlier. The total phase budget
will be automatically calculated. The sums shall be entered in LEI, without separator,
using comma for decimals;
In the Operations column you can either insert a new field by clicking on thebutton, or delete a field by clicking on the button.

4. State AidThis section is to be completed only by Joint Applied Research Projects (PCCA-2) applicants. In
this section you can upload the various declarations required by the State Aid Annex. Depending on
the type of partner institutions you selected, the online platform will automatically indicate what
declarations you have to upload with regards to State Aid. You shall specify the information in the
following format:

Research organizations
Enterprise partners
You can upload the corresponding declarations (Annex 9.1, Annex 9.2, Annex 9.3a, Annex
9.3b, Annex 9.4 in pdf format) by clicking the button in the corresponding field. Themaximum allowed file size for the pdf document is 10 MB/document.
The Save button can be used to save the data into the database, it can be used for
intermediary data saving and for final data saving also.
The Next step button shows the next page of the form, the Project Proposalpage.
5. Project proposalIn this section you can upload the project proposal (Annex 3), the Declaration of non-
financing from other sources (Annex 10) the Partnership Agreement and other documents
considered representative for the activity of the Project Leader. You shall specify the information inthe following format:
a. Project proposal
You can upload the project proposal by clicking the button in the corresponding field.
The maximum allowed file size is 10 MB/document. You can upload the proposal in pdf or rtf/docformat using the corresponding field. After selecting the file please click on the Save button below.

b. Declaration (Annex 10)
You can upload the declaration by clicking the button in the corresponding field. Themaximum allowed file size for the pdf document is 10 MB/document. After selecting the file please
click on the Save button below.
c. Partnership Agreement
You can add more rows if you need to by clicking on the button. You can also delete
rows that are not necessary by clicking on the button in the corresponding field. The
maximum allowed file size for the pdf document is 10 MB/document. After selecting the file please
click on the Save button below.
d. Other documents considered representative for the activity of the project leader
You can add more rows if you need to by clicking on the button. You can also delete
rows that are not necessary by clicking on the button in the corresponding field. The

click on the Save button below.

The Finalize proposal button shows the next page of the form, the Finalize proposalpage.
6. Finalize proposalWhen the authenticated user clicks on the Finalize the project proposalbutton, the following
message is displayed:

If you missed filling in any mandatory information or if the information entered does not meet the
requested criteria, by clicking on No, just verify proposal button you will find a list of all errors
detected in your application form. An example is shown here:

Clicking Yes, submit proposal button you may find a list of all errors detected in your application
form as you may observe in the following image:
If you've completed correctly the application form, and your data meets validation criteria, information
you filled in all previous forms is displayed in the results page. It will look like the following image:

Project proposal may be printed by using Print link placed at the bottom of results page.
Alternatively you may download results in a pdf file type using Export PDF link.
