Commitment
GAVEX has been committed to supporting phytosanitory interventions in Ghana through various initiatives
compliance to new reforms especially by the PPRSD, towards improving the Phytosanitary situation in the vegetable sector.
Initiatives
In view of the frequent interceptions of Ghanaian vegetables within the EU, which resulted in great loses to farmers and exporters,
GAVEX sought the services of an experienced Agronomist to collaborate with AEAs and Out growers through training and direct technical support in the catchment areas.

Trip to UKTo buttress her commitment to this cause,
GAVEX initiated a trip to the UK on a fact-finding mission, with support from GIZ, Air Ghana and Srighan Farms. The delegation comprised officials from PPRSD, MoFA and GAVEX representatives.
