• Go to the BMJ Best Practice homepage• Click on “Resources” in the top right corner and select “Drug database”. Pick Micromedex from the drop-down menu.

• Click on a particular treatment option to expand for more information. • Click on the drug name in blue. If you wish to find out more detail, select Micromedex from the drug database box.

• Click the 'In-Depth Answers' tab for full, in-depth drug monographs, or the 'Quick Answers' tab for summary decision support at the point of care.

• This will display a list of all drug names referenced in BMJ Best Practice in alphabetical order. • Click on the drug link to go directly to the relevant Micromedex content.

• Use the left hand index to view place in therapy, off-label use, comparative efficacy, interactions, IV compatibility, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, storage details and more.

• Go to your selected BMJ Best Practice topic; this will take you to the topic’s overview page.• Click on the “Step by Step” page under “Managment” in the topic’s navigation menu.
