• Download JDK from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/do

• Download Android SDK from
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
• Install JDK first and then install the Android SDK

• Open Eclipse IDE
• Install ADT plugin(Android Development Tool) for Eclipse
• Choose HelpInstall New Software option
• Click Add Button
• Add the Name(any) and Location as given here

SETTING UP EMULATOR
• Open SDK Manager
• Choose ToolsManage AVDs
• Android Virtual Device (AVD)
• Choose New and Enter the
options as you prefer in the dialog
box shown here
• Click Create AVD
