Drawing table/Drawing boardAny flat surface with a straight edge for your
tee-square will do from both schoolwork and homework.
Tee-squareThe best type of tee-square is shown below as
it should not warp (personal preference you may find a different type better)
Set squaresThere are three types. The first two are
compulsory and the adjustable is optional but recommended.

CompassA good compass is very important. One from
a mathematical set wont do.
French curves or flexi curves (optional)
PencilsYou will need a HB and 2H-5H pencil for
technical drawings. If possible you should try and get pencils
ranging from b values to h values for freehand sketching.
Colouring pencils will also be needed.
Pencil sharpener and EraserAny pencil sharpener will do but metal ones
will last longer.
A vinyl eraser is needed. It should come with a plastic sleeve around it
PaperAn A4 sketch pad will be needed for freehand
sketching. Make sure the paper is not ruled. The more pages the better.
You will mainly use A3 paper and occasionally A2 which will be supplied for you.
