The requirements for data submission are changing, and the bar is being raised with the 2019 Magnet® Application Manual. The requirement for outpatient/ambulatory nationally benchmarked data is daunting. This 1-day intensive drill-down workshop will focus on the 2019 ANCC Magnet® Application Manual data requirements for patient satisfaction, RN satisfaction, and nurse sensitive indicators (NSIs). We will examine what the revised requirements are, and in particular, the updated ambulatory patient satisfaction and NSI requirements. Participants will leave with clear direction and examples of what is needed to be successful with the 2019 Magnet® data requirements. PREPARATION MATERIALS

All participants are expected to have a copy of the ANCC 2019 Magnet Application

Manual. We respect the ANCC’s copyright of this material so therefore we are not able to

provide any participant with handouts containing the language found in the manual. The

Manual can be purchased on the ANCC website. If groups are attending the group must

bring at least 1 manual. In addition, please bring a list of both inpatient and

outpatient/ambulatory area nurse sensitive indicator (NSI)data you are currently

collecting. This information will enable sharing and brainstorming of possible NSIs your

organization might use on the journey to Magnet designation.

“Participants must plan on bringing a copy of the 2019 ANCC Magnet Application

Manual as this will be used as a reference throughout the workshop.”

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Classes will be held every day at the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower Shops. You will be able

to get the conference room location at the front desk. Continuing education contact

hours will be provided to participants who attend the full workshop.
