Poverty isn’t just about lack of resources. In a wealthy world it’s about bad decisions made by powerful people. We form part of a global movement of people committed to achieving a fairer world by:

– partnering with Australians to campaign on the issues that matter – more than 85,000 Australians took action with us in 2007/2008;

– empowering communities in developing countries to realise their rights and improve their lives;

– engaging with organisations and governments to change policies that cause poverty and inequality.

Get involved in Oxfam Campaigns and join a movement of people committed to changing the world!

Close the Gap calls on governments to take action to achieve Indigenous health equality within 25 years.

Make Poverty History is the largest anti-poverty movement in history and the global call to action to end the injustice of poverty.

Climate change action aims to help vulnerable people in developing countries cope with natural disasters and the impacts of climate change. Campaigning together can make a difference.
