Rebate Eligibility Requirements

• Rebates are available to all BGE residential electric customers, regardless of electric energy supplier.

• Rebates are limited to one ENERGY STAR certified air purifier or dehumidifier per BGE household, purchased after January 1, 2018, and while funds are available. Rebate amounts and eligible appliances are subject to change at any time.

• Not all ENERGY STAR certified models qualify for a rebate. Ineligible models will not receive a rebate. Check appliance eligibility at BGESmartEnergy.com/Air.

• Rebate application must be postmarked no later than 30 days from purchase date.

• Rebate application must be accompanied by proof of purchase, including a copy of the dated sales receipt with model number, and a copy of your recent BGE electric bill.

• The rebate paid will not exceed the purchase price of the appliance.

• Installations must comply with all federal, state and local code requirements.

• If you are purchasing an appliance for a BGEaccount in your tenant’s or landlord’s name,visit BGESmartEnergy.com/RenterLandlord for an additional form required along with this rebate application.

• Customer applying for rebate must be a BGE “customer of record” living at the address noted on the application.
