Extra Credit Opportunity Imagine you work for an advertisement company and you have been assigned to come up with an advertisement to encourage entrepreneurs to move to one of the four countries that we studied. (This job really exists). Using the information gathered in your data chart, I want you to make an advertisement for the country. It needs to be colorful, informational, and visually appealing. Refer to the rubric to help you complete this task. As payment for a completed task, your boss (Mean old Mr. Whitworth) will pay you 5 bonus points on your test. However, if you do not follow the instructions (Rubric) you will not receive payment.

Colorful? Has to be colored from edge to edge to edge to edge. Also, no stick figures.

Hand Drawn picture of country?

Has to have a hand drawn picture of the country on it.

Why should someone start a business there?

Using the information from the table about the Natural Resources and Land use, I want you to come up with at least 3 businesses that would thrive (succeed) there. Example: if they have climate favorable to farming than a farmer could start a farm there. You have to use evidence from the research to support your claim. I also want you to draw a picture for each business.

Why should a family move there?

Using information from that table I want you to provide 2 reasons why a family should move there with at least 1 and drawn picture.

Catchy Slogan? Like “Pure Michigan,” you need to come up with a cool slogan. Something catchy that sticks in your head.
