INTRODUCTION

OBJECT OF RESEARCH – to determine the level of stereotypes, language and general

knowledge about the neighboring country, its life and society with orientation on

Czech – Saxony borderland, Euroregion Elbe/ Labe.

Questionnaire survey - carried throughout the Czech Republic.

• the research was conducted through the internet and in the field survey

• the total number of respondents – n: 393

• the largest number of respondents were in the Ústí nad Labem region –
