Our church family has always been there to give us guidance and spiritual support. By tithing our estate to Bethlehem First UMC through our will, we will ensure that other families will benefit from the love that this church can bring to their lives.” Bill and Judy Barnwell Who Manages the Investments? The investments are professionally managed through the Georgia United Methodist Foundation in Peachtree Corners, Georgia (www.gumf.org). The Foundation also provides confidential consulting services at no charge to donors who are contemplating a planned gift to our church. What is The Legacy Fellowship? The Legacy Fellowship is composed of church members and friends who have contributed to the Endowment Fund or have indicated that they have included Bethlehem First UMC in their will or estate plan, whether or not their gift is designated to the Endowment Fund. Gifts may be made in honor or memory of a loved one. An annual event recognizes their commitment to the future ministry of the church. However, this would only be done with the prior approval of the donor. The committee respects the wishes of any donor who wishes to remain anonymous. “As a young teenager, Bethlehem First helped me take my first, shaky steps of faith. In high school and college, Bethlehem First nurtured my faith through rich biblical education and by awakening me to the gifts and graces God has given me. Today, Bethlehem First continues to be a tremendous support to me and now my children. Giving a gift of appreciated stock to the endowment every year is just one way that I can “pay forward” to future generations.” Jan Brown How Can I get More Information?
