Trade Mission to EXPOMIN Chile & Colombia, April 25-29, 2016, Santiago, Chile; Bogota, Colombia Expomin is a biennial event and the largest mining exhibition in South America representing the best platform to connect with the region’s world class mining industry. The show houses more than 1,100 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and more than 50,000 regional visitors. Eurosatory, June 13-17, 2016, Paris, France *SOLD OUTAccelerate your business at Eurosatory, the world’s largest land and air-land defense trade show, to be held June 13-17, 2016 in Paris, France. The Georgia booth is organized by GDEcD and will be located in the USA Security and Defense Pavilion. In 2014 Eurosatory successfully showcased 1500 exhibitors from 58 countries and had more than 58,000 professional attendees from 143 countries, including 172 foreign military delegations. RLS Biennial Meeting, July 14-15, 2016, Bavaria, GermanyIn 2008, Georgia was welcomed as the newest member of the Regional Leaders Summit (RLS), a strategic alliance of international regions that provides a forum for the exchange of best practices in areas of mutual interest. Member regions include: Bavaria, Germany; Georgia, USA; Quebec, Canada; Shandong, China; Sao Paulo (state), Brazil; Upper Austria, Austria; and Western Cape, South Africa. These regions represent 170 million people in five continents with a GDP of more than $3 trillion. As one of the biggest hospitality trade shows in the region, ABASTUR represents an important entrance into the Latin American markets. Over 20,000 people attend each year, 60% of these visitors from restaurants, hotels or hotels. SEUS- Japan 2016, September 20-22, 2016, Tokyo, JapanJoin the Georgia delegation for the 39th Annual Joint Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. Created in 1976 by former Georgia Governor George Busbee, the Southeast U.S. – Japan Association (SEUS-Japan) was established to promote trade, investment, understanding and friendship between Japan and the southeastern United States. Member states include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and SEUS-Japan has a Japanese counterpart, the Japan-U.S. Southeast Association. Both memberships include top business leaders and government officials.
