PURPOSE OF GEOPORTAL The main goal of the GeoPortal is that to

reach geographic data located in different locations and metadata of those geographic data as a compatible format with INSPIRE and the other international standards via a common infrastructure

GEOSPATIAL CATALOG The Search according to the following, – The topics in INSPIRE, ISO 19115 and ISO 19119 Metadata standard – Data resources and Web services, including Web Map Service (WMS),

Web Feature Service (WFS), Styled-Layer Descriptor (SLD), KML/KMZ, etc.

– Topic categories such as Agriculture and Farming, Business and Economic, Transportation Networks, etc.

DOWNLOAD You can download the vector and raster data in different data formats (such as, .dxf, .gdb, .shp etc) in accordance with the rules and regulations specified in INSPIRE data download and INSPIRE data transform service standards.

METADATA SEARCH You can search metadata by using different criteria that are:

• Geographic area, • Data category (administrative units etc. ), • Data document type (dataset, map service), • Geographic feature (river,forest etc. ), • Keyword and they can be viewed on the map.

METADATA EDIT • You can create metadata in accordance with either INSPIRE or ISO

standards with metadata edit tool dependent on the context of the data or datasets.

• Former metadata can be verified for the compatibility of INSPIRE or ISO

METADATA MANAGEMENT You can view or edit metadata’s: • Accuracy • Compliance • Quality • Ownership • by accessing all registered metadata with advanced query

parameters on the system.

USER MANAGEMENT • You can register your information (mail, phone, contact etc.) in the

system as the role of registered user.

• The system can view the information of all the registered users.

• You can match the system users on 3 main roles (user, administrator, service provider) that are defined as different authorities.
