get a piece of scratch paper out and draw a large triangle. Then cut it out.

place on a piece of paper and extend one side to form an exterior angle and label as shown:

Now tear off the corners that are not next to the exterior angle. Use them to fill the exterior angle as shown:

After completion, what do you notice about the measure of the exterior angle and the measures of the 2 interior angles of the triangles you tore off?
