We also undertake a local river study
investigation - the River Neb We start in the
South Barrule Plantation and finish in Peel
Students carry out width depth and velocity
measurements and also get a chance to study
some of the riverrsquos other characteristics from
source to mouth
How will I be assessed
At the end of Year 11 students sit
both the Unit 1 and Unit 2
examinations The two papers are
each worth 375 of the GCSE
Students also complete the Controlled
Assessment in Years 1011 The
Controlled Assessment is worth 25 of
the GCSE

employable
