A Study report titled as "Reinforced Earth Wall with its Design Procedure and Cost Comparison between Road over Bridge with Conventional Slopes/ Retaining Walls and Road Over Bridge with Reinforced Earth Walls" is published by G.E.Directorate. The report covers the concept of RE Wall Design with solved examples for different heights of ROBs. A detailed comparison of cost with actual field data has also been done. From cost comparison, it is concluded that : ROB with RE wall is always economical than ROB with Conventional retaining wall. Construction of ROB with RE wall is economical with respect to conventional (slope) ROB if the Guidelines for safety during tunnel construction land's cost is more than ` 2000/- per sq m.
