Figure S1: Transcript profile of genes expressed differently in InsP 5-ptase transgenic line (L7) and with wild-type (WT) exposed to continuous light (50 µmol m-2 s-1  light  intensity at 35 °C) for 7 days. Genes are clustered by hierarchical clustering (Euclidean distance). Two independent biological replicates for each plant line are presented here.

Figure S2: Relative  transcript  abundance  of  (a)  PR  protein  (Les.3408.1.S1_at)  and  (b)  wound-induced proteinase inhibitor II prepeptide (Les.1675.1.S1_at)  in tomato wild-type (WT) and InsP 5-tase transgenic line L7 exposed to continuous light  (50 µmol m-2 s-1 light intensity at 35 °C) for 7 days. Gene expression was analyzed by qRT-PCR. Results are demonstrated as  the average of two independent biological replicates. Relative expression levels were normalized to an internal standard (18S transcript) for each treatment. Bars represent standard error (SE) of means.
