1. God created time – space – matter. In evolution they existed eternally. In Genesis, only God has existed eternally.


2. In the Genesis story, Death and Sin are connected directly with the actions of a Historic Adam and Eve, and a historic Garden of Eden. Evolution has death and “survival of the fittest” at the beginning of the story.


3. God calls the creation process as “good” multiple times in Genesis 1-2. The modern evolution story starts with a Big Bang or Big Bloom.


4. The Creation story is based on two important concepts: Shalom (peace) and Relationship between God humanity (Personal). The evolutionary narrative is based on Survival of the fittest (war and destruction) and on impersonal matter evolving into higher forms.
